They also feature aluminum oxide abrasives to provide a high cut-rate for consistent finishing. A tough, durable abrasive, aluminum oxide self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional abrasives such as garnet, quickly wear down with use. Use on a wide variety of substrates in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys. The quick change discs can easily and quickly attach onto a Roloc disc pad (sold separately) to help provide conveniently change discs from job to job or in multi-step finishing processes.
